Our professional facility, Play at the Cage, is up to date using the newest technology including Trackman, Hit Trax, ProBatter, Pitch Logic, and more.Tech provides objective feedback and helps communicate with athletes. The athlete's metrics will help define their strengths and weaknesses and be utilized to custom develop their training sessions.

Tracking metrics over time, allows the athlete to measure progress and adjust the custom development plan as the athlete develops.

Coach Dishman has 36 years experience coaching elite travel team over 22 years four world championship teams. Coached five young men who have been drafted by Major League Baseball. Help placed many players to college opportunities in baseball. Coached High School baseball for 8 years.

RYAN DISHMAN

EXPERIENCE

Coach Ryan Dishman played baseball at Adrian College on Scholorship. He has held Coaching positions at Father Gabriel Richard High School and The Michigan Blue Jays at Various Ages for 10+ years. Over his 10 years of experience he coached over two dozen players that reached the collegiate level. Coaching and winning top three in many World Series tournaments, his greatest accomplishment was the Sportsmanship Award and 3rd place in the AABC World Series in Puerto Rico. Respected as a Players Coach, focusing on a players strengths while developing on aspects of the game that need improvement and utilizing each player to build confidence and success as a team is Coach Ryan's Focus. He sets high expectations for his athletes on the field, in the classroom and in the community.

Coach Ryan continues to share his knowledge of baseball by doing private lessons and coaching.

VICTOR ROACHE

EXPERIENCE

Coach Roache has a B.A. in Economics from UCLA. He has been coaching various aspects of baseball for over fifteen years. He coached at Lincoln High School at the Varsity level for six years from 2005-2011. For most of the teams he's been involved with over the years, he was the team's primary hitting coach. He has a passion for the baseball swing, an eye for seeing the mechanics, and an easily discernible way of relating the information to his students. He is a visual coach that uses a lot of video, mirrors and training aids in his instruction.

BRIAN BARNES

EXPERIENCE

Coach Barnes has over 23 years of coaching experience. He has coached elite travel softball and has won several high-level tournament championships. He has served as the hitting instructor for MHSAA Hall of Fame coach, Peggy Curtis. He has coached over 50 female athletes to play at the collegiate level and 8 MHSAA all-state athletes.

Coach Barnes started coaching his daughters in travel softball. Once they were moved on to college, he started coaching at The Cage in 2014. His passion is in hitting mechanics using video guidance to break down the swing and show athletes precise changes they can make in their swing as well as exit velocity and bat speed. He is also passionate in throwing velocity/mechanics using a variety of techniques including de-acceleration, proper arm slot mechanics, and strength training drills. He has many athletes who currently hold hitting records at their respective high schools. The throwing velocity program has helped over 80 female athletes reach the 60mph mark and most recently has had 4 girls reach over 70mph.

Coach Tony brings over 15 years of invaluable coaching experience to the table. For a decade, he has successfully coached softball at the national level, leading his teams to triumph in multiple major tournaments. His tenure at Lakeview High School has allowed him to cultivate young talent and inspire future athletes.

A proud father, Coach Tony's daughter made her mark at Allen Park High, where she not only excelled but also contributed to her team's victory as part of a D1 national championship team. His legacy continues with over 13 of his players currently competing at the collegiate level, including 5 athletes who are part of D1 programs.

After guiding his daughter through her softball career, Coach Tony has shifted his focus to coaching high-level baseball, sharing his expertise and passion with his son. His lessons are more than just techniques; they are life lessons aimed at fostering growth and resilience in young athletes.

Coach Travis Krakowski has 16 years of coaching, and development of baseball players from 10U to the collegiate levels.

A 3X 1st team all conference performer at Willow Run High School, shoulder injuries shortened his playing career. "Coach K" has since dedicated his coaching career to the art/ science of pitching and arm care.

HARRISON TRAVIS

EXPERIENCE

Assistant Coach - Eastern Michigan University 

Harrison Travis is currently an assistant coach at Eastern Michigan University where he works with Catchers and Hitters. He spent 1 season at Eastern Michigan University where he slashed .309/.373/.570 with 10 2Bs, 11 HR and 40 RBI in 44 games. Prior to that he spent five seasons at Carson-Newman where he earned three SAC Player of the Week Awards and was named to the Second-Team All-SAC Preseason Team in the 2023 and 2024 season. He also spent 1 season as a hitting/catching coach for the Full Count Rhythm in Hendersonville, TN.
